1. Abnormal sound
reasons:
1.The saw blade is overused, temperature is high and deformed by external force, it needs to be corrected.
2.The gap, run-out and deflection of the main spindle of the equipment.
3.Rift on the saw blade, foreign matter clung, and other object outside of cutting material during cutting.
2. Abnormal feeding
reasons:
1.The saw blade slips
2.The spindle is stucked by other object
3.The outlet is blocked by other object
3. Burrs or unevenness on the surface of the cutting workpiece
reasons:
1.The unevenness of the saw blade needs to be corrected
2.Saw blade tooth defect or broken
3.Incorrect installation
4.The accuracy of the cutter head is decreased by long service of the saw blade.
4. Pinch saw phenomenon
reasons:
1. The design of the saw blade is unreasonable and cannot remove chips in time.
2. The material of the saw blade is not suitable for the material being processed.
3. Excessive use, the high temperature of the saw blade.
4. The saw blade is deflected or the machine spindle is beating or the installation is not correct.
5. The cutter head wears too fast
Reason: The angle of the cutting edge is unreasonable, the cutter head is soft (for the material to be cut); poor wear resistance of the cutter head, and the saw blade is not vertical to the material which need to cut.
Solution: Replace with suitable saw blade; check the spindle flange to ensure the verticality of the saw blade and the equipment; check the speed of the saw blade in work time.
6. Nonuniform wear on both sides of the cutter head
Reason: Imbalance cutting of saw blade
Solution: Check the balance of the saw blade
7. The saw blade become blunt and cannot be cut
Reason: The saw blade is not sharp enough and needs to be ground; the line speed of the saw blade is too high; the power is insufficient to make the saw blade cut normally, and the saw blade is not applied with enough cutting pressure.
Solution: grind the saw blade in time and reasonably; select the corresponding diameter saw blade according to the equipment manual; check the transmission belt, voltage and motor; make sure cutting pressure is enough and not over.
Carbide saw blades are the most commonly used cutting tools for wood processing, and the quality of carbide saw blades is closely related to the quality of processed products. Correct and reasonable selection of carbide saw blades is great significance for improving product quality, shortening processing and reducing processing cost.
The carbide saw blade includes many parameters such as the type of alloy cutter head, the material of the saw body, the diameter, the number of teeth, the thickness, the tooth shape, the angle, and the aperture, etc. These parameters determine the processing ability and cutting performance of the saw blade. When selecting a saw blade, it is necessary to correctly select the saw blade according to the type, thickness, sawing speed, sawing direction, feeding speed, and sawing kerf width of the cut material.
